The meaning of the Anointing Oils:
We are both the apple of his eye, and He, our Beloved draws close with breath like sweet apples. He is the Lily of the Valley, and He is the dew of Herman, nourishing us to blossom like the Lily. He comes into the garden to partake of the fruit of His pleasure with pears representing His love and grace. Not only is He our beloved, but we are also His. This speaks of love, protection and intimacy with Him.
